Advancing women’s participation and leadership in cybersecurity is critical for cyber resilience worldwide. To strengthen global action, the Women in Cyber Awards - an initiative by GCF with the support of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UN Women – is recognizing excellence in strengthening women’s participation, leadership, and impact in cybersecurity.

The Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) announced the launch of the Women in Cyber Awards, with the support of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UN Women, to recognize excellence in advancing women’s participation, leadership, and impact in cybersecurity.

Under the theme 'Scaling Cohesive Advancement in Cyberspace,' the GCF Annual Meeting 2025 convened global decision-makers and experts to elevate the scope, capacity, and impact of collective efforts to ensure a safer, more resilient Cyberspace for all, across 5 key sub-themes: Beyond the Inflection Point, Cyber Economics Redefined, Strengthening Cyber Inclusion, Behavioral Lens in Cyberspace, and Opportunities at the Horizon.
